These decadent Chocolate and Pecan Nut Brownies are rich, gooey, and drizzled with chocolate, making them an irresistible treat for any chocolate lover.
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Spray a roasting tin with non-stick spray and line it with baking paper.
Melt the butter and chocolate over low heat in a large pot.
Once melted, remove from the heat and stir in the sugar. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes.
Add the eggs one by one, mixing well after adding each egg.
Stir in the vanilla essence.
Gently fold in the flour, cocoa powder and pecan nuts until fully combined.
Pour the mixture into the prepared tin and bake for approximately 40 minutes.
Check with a cake tester; brownies should still be slightly gooey. You will want to see some moist crumbs attached to the cake tester when you pull it back out. If it looks like it's covered in brownie batter, the brownies will need to bake a bit longer.
Let the brownies cool and then cut them into 12 pieces.
Melt chocolate and put it into a piping bag.
Cut a small hole in the bottom of the piping bag and drizzle the melted chocolate on the brownies.
Decorate with assorted chocolates and cookies as desired.
